Solar panels are devices used to capture the sun’s energy and convert it into heat or electricity. Their use is becoming increasingly popular as the cost of electricity continues to increase. Not to mention the amount of pollution created from the use of coal, gas and oil to create electricity.
The earths supply of coal, gas and oil is limited. But the sun’s energy is not. So the use of solar panels to create heat and electricity is using a renewable energy source – the sun.
